Master the Presentation

One key element we train all clients in is Mastering the Presentation, no matter the setting. In fact, our clients have to conceptualize presenting in multiple settings because during a crisis, unpredictable situations may pop up without warning.

With that, the area clients need to rehearse long before they’re called to respond is mastering their Stage Presence.

The first three items of focus are:

  1. Eye contact;
  2. Body posture; and
  3. Use of hands (sometimes you should; sometimes…not so much).

Watch the next person who presents to you and observe how they excel or fail. Simply put, this level of body language often communicates more than any words they speak. In fact, when body language is in conflict with what a person is saying, guess which we tend to believe.
