Transparency

No matter what you think, I’ve found the public can see right through you. For that matter, even friends can.

We live in a Day of Transparency, which means every single person in every single situation must come clean. No longer are we in a day where we can trick someone . . . for long. Here’s why:

Cameras. Digital footprints. Database of your activity. Humans around you. Your own face.

These are the things — and many more — that tell us if a person is telling the truth.

A police officer friend one told me, “Tim, if there were no crimes, they wouldn’t need the police.” Point taken.

So next time you see a cop or the news, remember that because the truth will always come out, let’s apply common sense and act truthfully every step of the way. #nolies
